Lead Systems Engineer
Assume complete responsibility for the successful planning, development, deployment, and maintenance of key software product components.
These include but are not limited to:
- software installer creation pipeline,
- automated software deployment pipeline,
- software crash reporting pipeline, and data collection pipelines for recording large imaging data sets and monitoring device usage in the field;
Contribute significantly to the definition of hardware and software product requirements, taking into account factors such as cost, portability, compatibility, or usability;
Play an essential role in selecting the most suitable programming languages and third-party libraries to meet user needs and ensure interoperability, portability, and security of system architecture;
Adhere to industry best practices while implementing the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) to verify stability and scalability of system architecture and contribute to the development of system engineering and system integration architectures;
Commit to a culture of Continuous Improvement processes, striving for operational excellence and process optimization at every opportunity;
Collaborate closely with Electronics experts for firmware development, ensuring compatibility of system components, and effective system controllers;
Contribute actively to the development of manufacturing jigs, software, and processes, ensuring system suitability for specific purposes, and making recommendations regarding component use;
Pioneer cybersecurity considerations, including server penetration, database security, data recovery, and prevention of reverse engineering;
Perform security analyses of developed or packaged software components and provide guidelines for implementing secure systems.
Bachelor’s Degree in Systems Engineering or a closely related field.
